  YEŞİM MARGILIÇ  GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AGREEMENT  (KÜRESEL VATANDAŞLIK SÖZLEŞMESİ)       ACTİVİTY NAME: GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AGREEMENT Purpose: To enable children to learn the concepts of reducing their carbon footprint and global citizenship in a fun way. Target Age Group: 7-10 years old Duration: 45-60 minutes Required Materials: World map, flags or stickers representing countries, recyclable materials, cards with clues. Activity Flow: Task 1: "Responsibilities of Being a Global Citizen" The concept of global citizenship is explained to the children. "Even though we all live in different countries, we share the same world. What kind of responsibility do you think everyone should take to protect our planet?" is asked. Attention is drawn to the subject. Task 2: The world map is laid out in the middle of the classroom. Flags are pasted where the countries are located. We held our interactive conference on "Carbon Footprint Citizenship and Our Responsibilities" with our students. It was an enjoyable event.
