Open Physics Lessons: Unforgettable Moments at the Science Festival!


Our science festival, Open Physics Lessons, fascinated participants by transforming classrooms into science laboratories! This unique event allowed curious minds of all ages to explore the fascinating world of physics laws with interactive experiments. Although most participants joined us via online platforms, scientific curiosity and enthusiasm crossed boundaries and brought everyone together.


A Science Adventure for Every Class


Each lesson was a unique adventure where students and participants embarked on a journey full of scientific discoveries. Young scientists recreated the Archimedes principle with water-filled containers, while playing with prisms to solve the secrets of optical illusions. Those who wanted to explore energy transformation designed mini catapults and demonstrated the power of kinetic energy. While those who examined the mysterious gravitational field of magnets were amazed by the metal particles dancing with magnets; those who created a riot of color by refracting light presented a visual feast.


Virtual but Real: Participation and Passion


The event was held on a completely open platform for students, parents, teachers and science enthusiasts. Although the majority of participants connected online, this did not dampen the excitement! The live-streamed experiments were watched with great interest by virtual guests. During the experiments, participants participated in discussions by asking questions, sharing their ideas and experiencing the passion of scientific discovery together. Online chat rooms became a meeting point where young people and adults came together to celebrate science.


Physics: A World Beyond Formulas


Open Physics Classes proved once again that physics is not just about complex formulas; it is a lively, dynamic and fun-filled universe. Online and physical participants came together in the unifying power of science. The energy of the event resonated everywhere, building a bridge that connected the virtual and real worlds. As participants discovered how physics plays a role in everyday life, their fascination with science deepened.


Inspiration for Future Scientists


This festival was a spark that ignited scientific curiosity in young people and led them to new discoveries. The sparkle in the eyes of the participants gave hope for the future of science. We hope that in the future, more young people and adults will fall in love with science, ask new questions and contribute to unraveling the mysteries of the universe with such events. Open Physics Lessons is not just an event; it is the beginning of a movement that can change the world with the power of science!

  YEŞİM MARGILIÇ  GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AGREEMENT  (KÜRESEL VATANDAŞLIK SÖZLEŞMESİ)       ACTİVİTY NAME: GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AGREEMENT Purpose: To enable children to learn the concepts of reducing their carbon footprint and global citizenship in a fun way. Target Age Group: 7-10 years old Duration: 45-60 minutes Required Materials: World map, flags or stickers representing countries, recyclable materials, cards with clues. Activity Flow: Task 1: "Responsibilities of Being a Global Citizen" The concept of global citizenship is explained to the children. "Even though we all live in different countries, we share the same world. What kind of responsibility do you think everyone should take to protect our planet?" is asked. e-Twinning Project CARBON FOOTPRİNT STEM

Türkiye'den okulumuz öğretmeni Sibel Vala Ölmez'in kuruculuğunu üstlenerek başlattığı ve Kuzey Makedonya'dan Aida Petrovska ile ortak yürütülecek olan e-twinning projemiz CARBON FOOTPRINT #STEM başlamıştır. 7 farklı ülkeden ortak olmak üzere 15 öğretmen ve 350 öğrenci ile geniş kitlelere ulaşmayı hedeflemekteyiz. Amacımız karbon salınımının gezegenimiz üzerindeki olumsuz etkisini fark ederek küresel çapta olumlu değişimler yaratmak ve aynı zamanda geri dönüşümü de desteklemek ve yaygınlaştırmaktır. #STEM teknolojisi kullanarak yürütülecek bu projede öğrenciler teknolojiyi kullanmakla kalmayıp, aynı zamanda gelecek nesiller için sürdürülebilir bir çevre bilinci oluşturmak konusundaki kararlılıklarını da ortaya koyacaklardır.
