In collaboration with the science teacher, students were provided with information about the recycling of organic waste. To enhance their learning through hands-on experience, they transformed their own organic waste. Curriculum Integration Students learn how waste decomposes in nature and contributes to recycling. Türkiye'den okulumuz öğretmeni Sibel Vala Ölmez'in kuruculuğunu üstlenerek başlattığı ve Kuzey Makedonya'dan Aida Petrovska ile ortak yürütülecek olan e-twinning projemiz CARBON FOOTPRINT #STEM başlamıştır. 7 farklı ülkeden ortak olmak üzere 15 öğretmen ve 350 öğrenci ile geniş kitlelere ulaşmayı hedeflemekteyiz. Amacımız karbon salınımının gezegenimiz üzerindeki olumsuz etkisini fark ederek küresel çapta olumlu değişimler yaratmak ve aynı zamanda geri dönüşümü de desteklemek ve yaygınlaştırmaktır. #STEM teknolojisi kullanarak yürütülecek bu projede öğrenciler teknolojiyi kullanmakla kalmayıp, aynı zamanda gelecek nesiller için sürdürülebilir bir çevre bilinci oluşturmak konusundaki kararlılıklarını da ortaya koyacaklardır.
