e-Security Studies in our School

 



























With the rapid development of technology, it has become inevitable to have a School Security Policy. Because stakeholders can access the internet in many ways from the school building today. We all live with digital technologies as part of our daily lives. To ensure that our children know how to best use the opportunities available through digital technologies, it is now necessary to know and understand how to use them. To ensure this is done in the safest way and in the most secure environment possible, we are a school with a clear and concise Safe Internet School Policy that attracts the attention of our students whether they are at home, at school or out and about with friends or alone. 

1. In our school, students are prohibited from entering the school with their mobile phones. They are allowed to leave them at the front office. Teachers, on the other hand, must have their phones in silent mode inside the school. Teachers who are doing eTwinning projects use them when necessary for project work. 

2. Our school has a website and social networks such as Facebook. The data published on these networks is shared in a controlled manner. It is regularly audited. 

3. Our guidance unit regularly organizes seminars for classes on topics such as ICT addiction, correct and safe use of ICT, and Cyber ​​Bullying.

4. There are fixed boards in our school regarding the correct and safe use of ICT.

5. Some teachers of our school have received distance and face-to-face training on Cyber ​​Bullying and the correct and safe use of ICT, given by the Ministry of National Education.

6. "Safer Internet Day" is celebrated in our school.

7. In celebration of Safe Internet Day at our school, seminars on the subject are held.

8. Our Classroom Teachers convey their knowledge to our students about internet ethics and safe internet use.

9. 21st century communication skills are important in our school. In this regard, efforts are being made to improve the ICT usage skills of our students.

10. In our school, activities are carried out to raise the awareness of our stakeholders about being a digital citizen.

11. The internet provider at the school (MEB) has blocked access to all kinds of harmful content. Access to these sites is blocked by the MEB internet filtering network.

12. According to the article on the Use of Social Media in Schools, numbered 2017-12, dated 07.03.2017, dated 07.03.2017, and dated 07.03.2017, by the General Directorate of Legal Services of the Ministry of National Education, taking and publishing photographs of students, parents and staff is prohibited.

13. Cyberbullying can be prevented by adjusting the privacy and security settings of the browsers and using anti-virus programs.

14. Necessary precautions are taken to prevent mobile devices/mobile phones from being used for purposes other than education.
